This blog is the continuation/spin-off from my nunsofdharamsala blog. For those of you that are new to this life-adventure that I’m on, here is a quick synopsis.

I’m a 39 year-old, single, childless woman that realized that corporate America just isn’t for me. I sold or gave away 80% of my worldly belongings in the summer of 2007, walked away from my career as a Network Engineer and moved to rural, Northern India. From the beginning of September 2007 to the end of December 2007, I lived with 76 Tibetan Buddhist nuns in a nunnery about 50 minutes from His Holiness The Dalai Lama as well as the Karmapa.

My huge support system of friends and family has been a key catalyst in keeping my growth moving forward and this website is the continuation of the journey. I make sure I include pages of thank-yous to people that have performed particular acts of generosity and kindness as well as random things that I find interesting , rants and insights into my spiritual development so people don’t wonder how I turned into such a moon bat. Laugh along with me.
